Sarah Cosentino and Felicity Slattery have been inspired by the design and architecture world since childhood, and they are all influenced by their grandparents. Sarah's grandmother is a seamstress. Her grandfather is a photographer, so she spends a lot of time on fabrics and assists in making beautiful and meticulous clothing. These potential early experiences are the basis of her interest in touch and material.

Felicity's grandparents are architects of the Australian modernist era. My grandfather designed and built their modernist house in Sydney and practiced with Harry Seidler. Her grandmother and her mother built a curtain and soft decoration business. Felicity's mother is also an artist, so she has been exposed to the art world since childhood, and has a strong interest in design and visual art. After completing a master's degree in architecture at the University of Sydney, Felicity worked in a small architectural studio in Sydney before heading to Melbourne, where I worked for Clare Cousins and met Sarah.
